Both of Karla's kindergarten classes had the opportunity today to tell me what their favorite thing has been about being in kindergarten. Top answers: (1) My dad and my brother have the same hair; (2) I went to the dentist this morning; (3) Why do you and Mrs. Edwards have the same name?

Oh, man. You brought back the memories. I love this about teaching little kids. Once after a lesson on Noah, I asked Trinity's 4-yr-old class what Noah built. A little girl raised her hand. When I called on her, she said, "I had egg salad for breakfast."
I guess they figure out raising your hand gives you a platform, and they run with it. I loved it, though. Such a crack up.
